Khaya Mthethwa's Rendition of Nicky Minaj's Song

There was no ways of predicting how was the contestants going to perform their songs but Khaya mthethwa did not dissapoint at all. Infact he showed us his talented and experienced side. He was given Nicky Minaj's Super Bass song and Boy he did justice to it. 

That song has so much of rap in it but You have got to love this version. 

You can feel it when he sings, the way he potrays himself that he is really enjoying this. Now we have to say that Khaya Mthethwa Theatre Week  proved that he was working hard at perfecting his art and we will not be dissapointed. 

Khaya Impressing the judges

Khaya Mthethwa did his audition in Durban, the judges gave their yes and he was requested to sing another song for them. Boy did he give an outstanding perfomance when he sang that John Legend song even uNathi joined him on stage!! you can check out the perfomance


This was just so beautiful and I am still saying that this is the star in the making indeed. when Khaya Mthethwa and Unathi got into that stage I could just see that this guy is unique and will make us proud. You will definetely be assured of magic moments from now onward with this young man.

The Audition

He amazed us all and that voice is just amazing.
This is Khaya Mthethwa's Durban Auditions where we met him for the 1st time and we have loved him since then.

Khaya Mthethwa has amazed us all. I would assume that there were very few people that knew him and what he does as a talented musician. But one day he decided to enter the Idols 2012 and now we know him.

 

Now we know who is Khaya Mkhize and we have heard him sing on Sunday and boy did he blow our socks off. For those of us that watched him we had no idea how he was going to handle that song but the moment he pulled that microphone out of its stand I immedietly felt goose bumps and I was like damn this boy is amazing. 

I was watching Unathi do all the funny reaction and Gareth was moving along and I just knew that he was good. Now we are looking forward to more of his performances in the next weeks and I am really hoping that he wins this competition as I see no one else with a talent and experience like him. 

For now I am saying that let us support our fellow Durbanite and if you are not in Durban this is a talented young man, let us vote, encourage and support him through his journey and we know that he deserves it.
